This picture was taken on San Francisco Bay while on vacation. I didn't realize my reflection was in my husbands glasses until we got home!

I took this picture right after my daughter and I hatched a Monarch. It sat on her hand as if posing for a picture.

Location

I took this photo while on vacation in California. We were driving down California highway 1, and saw this lighthouse and decided to stop in.

Time

It was mid morning before the sun burned the fog off the ocean.

Lighting

I really liked how the mornings in California were foggy. It made for some great shots without excess sunlight.

Equipment

I used my trusty Canon Rebel!

Inspiration

I’m always looking for some interesting shot. I was walking around the lighthouse and happened down a path toward the shore and got this shot.

Editing

No, I try not to do any post processing if I can help it.
