Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Greensboro, NC near the neighborhood where I live on March 16th, 2013.

Time

This was done at Sunset. Right before the clouds had started to come in.

Lighting

The lighting was pretty much natural. I was trying to get the glow from the sun going behind the clouds, as it was almost dark.

Equipment

I used a Nikon L810. I didn't use any lens, tripod, flash, etc. This camera is an automatic with no manual shutter speeds, etc.

Inspiration

I always love looking sunrises and sunsets. I just find them so interesting, especially, when clouds are involved.

Editing

I'm sure I did some adjusting with the shadows. I just can't remember exactly. I always try to keep the photo in a natural setting, unless, it's too dark or too light.

In my camera bag

I don't use any type of equipment, since, this is an automatic setting camera.

Feedback

Whenever I know that there might be some type of weather front, or clouds, coming in, or leaving, I try to capture the different shapes. I've found that the shapes of the clouds, definitely, can look like an animal, building, etc.
