Location
I took this photo at Sessiton, South Dakota. USATime
Taken when the moon was so dark. Taken at exactly 1:53 AM.Lighting
The place is near the road. I tried to position first to the place where i cannot get the road but it was not working. So I kept chaing my position until I found the spot but i got the road. However when I looked at the result the car lights added drama to my composition. I did also fill lighting to get details in the barn.Equipment
Canon EOS 5D MII, Canon EF8-15mm f/4L FISHEYE USM. Tripod and cable release.Inspiration
I am a person who does not sleep at night so I make use of my time. I love night lighting especially the shine bright from the stars. I am most in love with the milky way. It seems to me myself is connected to my love ones in far country when i stare stars in the sky.Editing
I took Raw photos, I uploaded those in my lightroom, I uploaded those to my photoshop as stack and I combined those images. I adjusted the saturation and sharpness and viola this is the image. In my camera bag
Canon Camera, Fisheye lens, and wide lens, tripod, cable releaseFeedback
Google the www.youcanseethemilkyway.com, look at the photographers ephemeris, try to study the weather condition. Have checklist on your gadgets. Cold weather consume more power so check your battery, have extras, try to scout the place in most earlier time. Use your tripod to have more professional looking photographs. To focus aim your camera on the brightest star. And last appeal help disseminate information on light pollution. Consider nothing for you to photograph if there is much light pollutions. Save energy, save money, and SAVE THE WORLD!
