I was in Tacoma on the glass skybridge between the History Museum and the Museum of Glass. Was near sunset when I decided to do this on a sunday. Never knew the picture would be popular.Time
I dont remember the exact time of day since it has been a few years since I took this picture. I believe it was late afternoon on a sunday around 5pm and since I like to do cityscapes, landscapes and weather photos I thought this would be a good time with the weather we were having.Lighting
In the original picture the only lighting there was. Was a little bit of sun as you can see in the clouds and of course the clouds.Equipment
At that time it was a Fuji point and shoot cameraInspiration
What inspired me was the fact of liking weather and city pictures so this became a good chance to combine the two and with no cars on the freeway below it may it good so things couldnt get in and mess up my shot.Editing
Yes, using the camera software played with curves to make it more errieIn my camera bag
Back then in 2014,2015 when I took the pic I had my Fuji point and shoot, spare battery, spare memory card. Now days in 2016 since I have taken two photography classes and am working on degree in photography is my Cannon Eos t5 DSLR with 55mm lens, my 80 mm lens from my 35mm slr, Spare battery, Two memory cards, lens cleaner.Feedback
Well cityscapes arent the most forgiving pics since building have different designs and angles. Lucky for me Tacoma only has a few tall building over 15 stories so I did have much problems there. Then when you try to work with weather like clouds and storms it can be tricky to get enough light to make sure the pic doesnt show up black. A tripod is your best friend on this of picture.
