Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at Cosby Beach, Lancashire, UK

Time

One of the best moments of the day is the golden hour of first thing in the morning, or when the sun goes down. This was taken, after the sun had gone down, after the golden hour...

Lighting

Of course natural lighting is the best lighting sometimes!

Equipment

I used my trusted Canon 7D, 24-105mm L Series Lens, remote shutter wire, and last but not least, the important tripod.

Inspiration

I wanted something special, something more than just a landscape with a sunset, and thought of hey! big skies? Cosby!!

Editing

I used the normal levels and curves, and then contrast, and a bit of vibrance to enhance the colours.

In my camera bag

Canon 7D, 24-105mm L Series Lens, Tokina 11-16mm w/a Lens, Remote shutter wire, Tripod, Spare memory cards, Lens cloths, Flask of coffee.
