Behind The Lens

Location

Greetings every-buddy! Thanks for asking about this one of a kind shoot we did at my old studio in Chicago, Wicker Park

Time

After we painted for several hours, the shoot was conducted late at night around 11pm

Lighting

We utilized 2 light sources for this image. One above her head and another to the side

Equipment

Canon! 50mm! No tripod, just my knee for support ( trustee knee caps are the best) Wireless flash transmitter triggers! And most importantly, my Lil ol trampoline that I've loved using for leverage and flight.

Inspiration

This shot was inspired by my childhood, being a graffiti artist in the city climbing around and painting whatever I can. I chose to call her "Ninjas Fly In Silence" for that very reason. To move in stealth at night only to paint something for the world to see freely. It's a lot easier now a days to create a masterpiece ????????

Editing

Only thing we did in photo shop was removing the back ground. Initially I wanted to make it look like she was in a dark location painting the wall. Maybe I'll do it after all with a different shot.

In my camera bag

Canon a couple of lenses, lots of batteries, a Snickers chocolate ???? and now a small Lil picture of my dad in my wallet, may he rest in paradise

Feedback

Be free when u push that trigger button of your ever so expensive camera Spontaneous is always best in my opinion. Perfection doesn't exist, but it's worth pushing your limits. Trying is a step closer to doing Enjoy your time while you're here, do it for the love always.
