Taken on the Broad River in Chimney Rock, North Carolina. I waded out to the middle of the river and climbed onto a flat rock and set up camp there. I took a number of shots with a couple different lenses. I liked the shelter under the falls in the left of the frame with the drooling water. I used my 70-200mm lens to get in closer as the depth and speed of the river made it impossible to get any closer than I was. Saftey first, yet on my way out with my backpack on and tripod in hand I slipped on some rocks and tore my calf muscle in my left leg, and I am now on crutches.
