Behind The Lens

Location

I took the picture in a national park in Croatia some years ago. I was there with my family everyone was stressing me, and i had no tripod... So I placed my camera on some rocks and used the live-view function to get everything in the right place.

Time

Actually is so long ago that I can't remember, cause it's so long ago, but the year is 2011 I think...

Lighting

The waterfall is shaded by some trees above it. I was looking for a waterfall I the shade, so the long exposure would not blow out the highlights.

Equipment

Canon 500D, with a standard 18-55 mm

Inspiration

The light, and also I was very much into landscape photography at that time, so probably a lot of professional photografers.

Editing

Used some photoshop at the time, and since i was young, unexperienced and foolish I had no clue of what RAW was... So it's shot in JPEG.

In my camera bag

Canon 5D mark II, Tamron 24-70 2.8 and a lot of batteries.

Feedback

Find some running water, shoot long exposure and try over and over again.
