Location
I took this photo while on holiday in the Philippines. We are in the front garden of a friends house.Time
It was around noon. I was just checking my kit as we had been out the previous day doing some street shots.Lighting
Only that I asked her to move from one side of the garden to the other to get the sun out of her eyes.Equipment
Canon 5D, Lens Canon ef 75-300mm, shutter 1/1000, aperture f8.0, iso 125. This is how the camera was set up from the previous days shooting.Inspiration
I was checking my kit in the garden to make sure I hadn't lost anything. As we'd been out and about shooting some street shots the day before. LJ, the model, who is actually my daughter said take one of my pineapple daddy. I moved her across the garden as the sun was scrunching up her face. I fired a couple off straight away. In this shot she had just said wait I'm not ready. Thats why I like it really. As all the shots after this she posed for and didn't look natural.Editing
As I took the shot quickly to catch her natural, there are a few distractions either side of her. So I have cropped them out. Also sharpened it a little and enhanced the colour just a tad.In my camera bag
Canon eos 5D, lenses ef 75-300, ef 28-105 and ef 85mm f1.8 usm. Also the obvious spare batts, memory cards and cleaning stuff. Oh and a couple of filters.Feedback
In this case it is a stolen shot were the model isn't ready. As in candid street photography. I find a natural shot will always be better than a posed shot.
