Behind The Lens

Location

I captured this on the West Coast of a wahoo at a beach called "Prays."

Time

The dolphin return from their nightly hunts every morning between 6 AM and 9 AM. So this was captured during that time

Lighting

Beautiful, bright morning sunlight from a clear sky filtered through 20 to 30 feet of water.

Equipment

Canon G12 in a water proof housing.

Inspiration

A beautiful woman swimming with dolphins… Not much outside motivation.

In my camera bag

My underwater equipment bag only holds the Canon G 12 and water housing. On dryland I shoot with a 5D Mark two and 24 to 70 lens

Feedback

The most important part about trying to catch wildlife, whether submerged or on land, is that you have to be there time and time again until nature lines up the shot for you.
