Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Belgrad Forest ?stanbul.

Time

It was a summer afternoon just before sunset.

Lighting

I was walking trough the forest with my doughter looking for interesting things to photograph on the forest floor. My doughter told me to look up and there it was the magnificent light rays opening a new dimension in the forest.

Equipment

I used a hand held Canon 5 d mk2 with a 50 mm Lens.

Inspiration

The light was so great to watch moving thought the branches. I couldn't miss this natural beauty happening right in front of me.

Editing

I exposure bracketed 3 photos with 1.5 stops. Then made HDR with software.

In my camera bag

I use a Canon 5d Mk2. With a 50 mm 1.4 mostly. I have a 24 and 85 mm in my bag.

Feedback

You never know when and where. I have my camera always with me. Most days I come home with really bad photos. But sometimes you are blessed with visual wonders. And all you have to do is to get the shot right. Never get out without a camera.
