Behind The Lens

Location

I took this at a local lake near Norwich. I was out for a walk with my camera to see what I could find.

Time

It was about 1pm when I took this photo, it was a bright sunny day, nice and warm for a walk by the lake.

Lighting

Nothing really, I just had to get the angle right.

Equipment

I used my Nikon d5100 with my 105 macro lens with a x2 teleconverter attached. its my favourite lens set up for macro photos, it was a hand held photo.

Inspiration

I was walking along and found the flowers, they stood out against the grass and had to get a photo. it took a while walking around to get a good angle but I was happy with what I took.

Editing

no, no edit at all, straight off the camera.

In my camera bag

My bag has a Nikon d5100, d5300 cameras. lenses are 18-55, 55-300, 105 macro, 50mm prime, 150-500, x2 teleconverter, 1.4 teleconverter and the normal lens cleaning things.

Feedback

I can say with this type of photo its best to get down at the flowers level, I got stung by nettles but I think that was worth the pain.
