Location
This photo was taken in Nice, France where I visit my parents every year. It's a lovely town on the Mediterranean shore close to Italy.Time
Sunrise where usually no one around and the light is magicalLighting
This is one my favorite photos of Nice because it's different from the usual postcard shot it's also my own interpretation of a beautiful sunrise.Equipment
Not that this really matter but I shot this with a Nikon D600 with one of my favorite wide angle lens the Nikkor 18-35 I used a small tabletop tripod that I carry with me all the time for long exposure. For the effect I used a 10 stop ND filter.Inspiration
I love the paintings from the renaissance era I tried to emulate that style.Editing
I don't usually spend too much time on post but I did for this one the colors where just popping I went with he flow and ended up with this result. In my camera bag
These days I carry a light mirrorless system from Fuji with a couple of prime lenses I just love the colors and skin tones coming out from these cameras, a tabletop tripod and the usual filters (ND and Polarizer) I use for Long Exposures that I love because you can shot those at any time of the day I am also a sucker for clouds.Feedback
I would say the most important element of a good picture is being there I know it may be boring advise but that's how I feel if you are not at the right time right place you can have the best equipment in the world you won't do much. If you are shooting landscapes do a lot of research before heading out if you do people shots preparation is key. Happy shooting.
