It was a very hot day with bright sun shining on my head.Equipment
Camera : Canon - T3i; Lens : EF28-105mm f/4-5.6; did not need a tripod or flash; used a circular polarizer.Inspiration
The blossom trail is a beautiful self guided trail which can be taken by car. All around the area, the different shades of the colors and the contrasts inspired me to drive 175 miles and take a 40 mile tour to take some photographs.Editing
I had the camera setting for White Balance set at Cloudy to add some contrast. In post processing, I increased the brightness a slight bit. No other post processing was done.In my camera bag
Usually I carry my whole kit : 24-105 lens, 50mm prime lens, 18-55 Kit lens, 75-300 lens, polarizer, Graduated ND filter, extra battery and extra memory card.Feedback
This place never looked this beautiful when I was driving past it, but the pink color stopped me. Then I took a walk towards the side of the farm and this was it ! It was not visible from the road. So my learning is - to walk few steps around, especially on the sides, to get a different angle / perspective than the one usually visible when passing by.... And I braved a ferocious looking barking dog as well ! But the owner was kind enough to allow me walk in his farm and take some pictures :)
