Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken around Basom New York i'm a self taught photographer so it's an adventure with every picture i take.

Time

I was camping with my husband and we wanted to go fishing early one morning so we got up before the sun was up and spent most of the day looking for a good spot to fish we finally found this little hidden spot and it was a great place to fish this was around dusk.

Lighting

With this shot the lighting was just the way i wanted it so i didn't do to much with the light.

Equipment

At this point in time i was using my canon 20D with no tripod.

Inspiration

I thought this was a really pretty place to be and the light coming through the trees with the geese swimming through the light just made it even better so i took several pics with different angles of the geese, i never caught any fish but i got some great shots instead.

Editing

About the only thing i did was add a little color and sharpen the picture a little.

In my camera bag

The only three pieces of equipment i carry are my canon EOS 70D 18-135MM lens and my 150-600MM lens

Feedback

If i was to give any new person advice trying to get into photography is just get out there and see new things and experiment with your camera just keep practicing and having fun with your photography.
