Thank you for all your comment. It's nice to know when others like your work. It's always hard to tell if your own work will be appreciated by others . I thank Viewbug for featuring my shot on homepage. Quite a compliment, thank you again !!!!

Location
I took this photo in Peru in La Huacachina, next to Ica.Time
It was about 5.00 pm -before sunset.Lighting
As you can imagine light in desert is really not a concern, the photo was taken at the end of the afternoon, which is perfect because the sun is not too bright. The shadows gave a sense of perspective.Equipment
Olympus FE 200 which I used -as it sadly died in the desert :-( but I normally use Canon EOS 500DInspiration
The soft light, the calm environment, the peace you feel when you are up there surrounded by nothing but silence and immensity.Editing
Nope.In my camera bag
a bottled water and good shoes!Feedback
Take the time to look around you. Don't rush. Try to capture not only what you see but also how it makes you feel -if that makes sense. Taking pictures for me is not about the technique -which is an ongoing process for me but about emotions and feeling. You can have the most amazing landscape in front of you but if you're not appreciating the moment you will miss something when taking the picture.
