Location
This photo was taken as I was walking on the John Roebling bridge that crosses the Ohio River in Cincinnati Ohio. I noticed as I neared the end of the bridge that one of the beautiful mirrored office buildings had captured the bridge's image.Time
Late afternoon...best time of day for lighting...I love how everything seems to soften.Lighting
The golden reflection coming from the building was the perfect backdrop for the rust in the bridge...and the colors in the flags just popped.Equipment
Just me and my Nikon Coolpix P80. No special equipment.Inspiration
I was surprised to see the bridge looking back at me from the building !Editing
Just color adjustment and careful cropping .In my camera bag
Please don't laugh...I have no bag. I am a true amateur - and a beginner. My bag, if I had to say, is just my ability to notice what is going on around me, get the "right eye" on it and then let the camera do what it knows how to do.Feedback
Don't be intimidated by anyone who passes you on a big bridge and is carrying a bulging photo bag. He may have all of the equipment but not necessarily the heart it takes to capture a beautiful photo.
