Behind The Lens

Location

I was in Boston, in a courtyard in the middle of a mall. I happened to have my camera with me and when I put my head back for a second (to yawn I think) I noticed the angles the building above were making. It was so random but it turned into an interesting photo.

Time

It was definitely mid day, I would say around noon.

Lighting

Outdoors so all natural light, but the sky was super clear that day.

Equipment

No flash, just me and my camera. And the bench I was lying on if you want to count that!

Inspiration

It was an accident really, but I found the angles the buildings were making in relation to each other intriguing. One building was curved on top, the other had straight angles, and the third on the right had ridges that were reflecting the light well. I saw a lot of contrasting features.

Editing

Nope!

In my camera bag

I usually just carry my camera with me and snap shots of whatever looks remotely interesting! I like to go to cities or on walks with me, I usually find the most interesting things to shoot when I am not actually looking for anything in particular.

Feedback

I would say just keep your eyes open, you never know when an interesting shot is right around the corner!
