Being able to come up with something "original" while photographing the streets and people of Venice is a great challenge. There are so many photos of this beautiful place that you never know if that particular corner of the city has already been seen and photographed. So I was looking for some new scenery.
I was almost past the shop window where this gentleman made the typical Venetian masks. It seems that he either was nothing but one of the creatures of this incredible place. Everything there was so intertwined! The tittle "mad masks" seemed perfect for such a mess.
