Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on top of a rock at Deep creek lake. Moments before, I had tripped and almost dropped my camera. After catching my fall, I looked up and saw how beautiful the scenery was and knew I had to take the shot

Time

This was taken in the afternoon.

Lighting

Lighting couldn’t have been more perfect. I almost felt like I was shooting indoors as the sun was being blocked by the mountains giving me more flexibility for the shot.

Equipment

I used the canon Rebel T5i.

Inspiration

I love the outdoors. I love to capture everything that catches my eye.

Editing

Nope!

In my camera bag

I typically carry 3-4 cameras with multiple lenses. Sometimes I feel like I’m in the military with all the heavy gear I’m carrying.

Feedback

You’d want to go to the creek during the spring or summer as during the fall or winter, the water could potentially freeze up and the trees could cause texture loss in your photo without the leaves.
