On Tuesday, March 18th a huge dust storm ~ the Weatherman called it a Haboob ~ blew through the Texas panhandle. The winds were 35-50mph pushing a huge Wall of Dust across the plains. This photo was taken about 3 hours after the front of the storm blew through our area. The dust hung in the air for hours and almost completely obscured the sun.
