Standing high over the Upper Falls in Letchworth State Park, this active trestle was first erected in 1875. Although it is trespassing to walk out onto the trestle, it has afforded generations of daredevils a magnificent (albeit dangerous) view of the gorge both north and south. If you decide to brave the walk, stay on the cross ties and don't lean against the railing. This photo was taken moments after a train had come through.
