Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best shots showing lights in the city in this photo contest with chances to win an Apple TV, iPods and more! Photos of city lights usually have the WOW factor as it shows the wonders that can be done when we work together to positively use technology; unless we spent time viewing photos of cities, it is not often that we recognize these as amazing accomplishments.
A special thanks to friend and professional photographer Olav Folland for his collaboration as a guest judge. Olav Folland was born a nomad, and graduated from 110 film to an SLR at age nine, while living in the Philippines. This launched him into what has become a life-long passion for photography. Currently in Sacramento, California, he enjoys forays into landscape and street photography, but his main interests lie in photographing people, and in experimenting in abstract works, most notably utilizing an opaque projector to create shapes and landscapes with the human form as a canvas.
