Location
This photo was taken in a cemetery in Tehran. You can find interesting sites in there but you have to wait for the perfect moment to capture good photos. (it can be crowded sometimes)Time
It was around 12 pm. I was randomly walking around the cemetery with my family. I found this tree corridor, so I decided to take a picture.Lighting
It was almost midday, as you can tell (by the harsh sunlight on the distant trees and partly on the model’s lap). It wasn’t a smart choice of time and outdoor lighting, so I tried to find somewhere that sun didn’t hit so harshly to prevent deep shadows and highlights. but it was kind of hard with wind shaking the branches of trees and changing the light constantly.Equipment
I borrowed my cousin's Canon 700D, with a zoom lens (18-135mm) to take this photo.Inspiration
I didn’t even own a camera back then. I borrowed my cousin’s camera to take some shots of her in the cemetery, seeing this beautiful scenery.Editing
In addition to color correction and white balance, I erased someone in the back of the model to have a clear background with no distraction. In my camera bag
The thing is, I didn’t even own a camera when I took this picture. if you don’t have the equipment at the beginning of your journey, you can still manage to take good photos using your phone or with a borrowed or rented camera, only if you have the passion for it. Practice to find your style at first and try different angles even with your phone to create special shots.Feedback
I’m an introvert and someone who is not really comfortable in new places. So I dedicate a part of my time to discover the location and feel more relaxed and in control, and then I start taking pictures.
