Behind The Lens

Location

Making memories, I actually took this photo on the banks of a river in the foothills of Santiago de Chile. At that time there was a radiant sun that cast a very harsh shadow and I managed to mitigate the effect of sunlight.

Time

It was spring around 11:00 a.m.

Lighting

Yes, use a medium sized spotlight to mainly light the face. The focus was located diagonally to the model.

Equipment

I used a basic kit, a nikon d3400 with an 18-55mm lens, or spotlight, the background support and the black cloth.

Inspiration

My photographic inspiration always arises from the search for voluptuousness. Voluptuousness, which can be both corporal and gestural. In this sense, beauty depends more than the shape of a face, the attitude of the model and what the photographer can undress or elucidate. Every model is beautiful as long as her attitude is beautiful and the photographer manages to discover her.

Editing

Yes, the original photograph is in color, but in the editing and post-production process I realized that the lighting on the face had a great brightness and that in the monochrome game it could be very interesting.

In my camera bag

In my bag, I carry my camera, three lenses, an LED light device, my tripod and that's it. Artistic photography depends on the aesthetic game between the photographer and the model. Create trust with the model to make the session something entertaining and where she can let loose and show off.

Feedback

It is important not to complicate life, photographic art depends on one, not so much on technical equipment. One takes the photo, not the camera, the photographer's game with the model is the most important thing for me.
