Behind The Lens

Location

The place were I shoot this picture is named Candia (near Viverone Lake - North Italy).

Time

I took it early in the morning, just a little bit after the raising sun.

Lighting

I took the manual exposure on the skin of the girl before to go under the rain, to be sure to realize a shoot readible without considering to loose the moment.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D4 with 85 mm f1.4

Inspiration

At the end of the shooting planned, we had breakfast in a bar. At that time it was start a storm and in that moment, I looked at the girl and we decided to "catch the moment" and we run out to take the picture.

Editing

Yes, but only to clean the picture from small details that could disturb the vision (i.e.: road signs, light poles)

In my camera bag

I use mixed equipment Canon and Nikon. Generally with 3 or 4 lens: 24mm 1,4 - 50mm 1,2 - 85mm 1,2.

Feedback

Use the fix optics for a very real quality of the image and choose the manual exposure for the part of the subject that you decide to be the main important of the shoot.
