Location
This photo was taken from the top level of the airport parking garage. I arrived from canada just an hour before and was overwhelmed by the stunning view.Time
I love this photo as it reflects the atmosphere of the early morning light mixed with the airport’s lightings. I took it beween 5 am and 6 am on a cold and breezy october morning.Lighting
It was a still dark in the morning but i adjusted the exposure time to compensate the darkness.Equipment
It was taken with my Sony A7Ii and as i had no tripod available but had set for s longer exposure i just the fencing of the top garage level to stabilise the cameraInspiration
The early morning view of the still calm but getting busy airport combined wit the weather made me want to show how i was feeling that very moment.Editing
I usually shoot in raw so my no.1 choice for editing is Lightroom for sharpening, white balane an colour correct. I finished it in Luminar with adjustments to highlights and shadows and colours. In my camera bag
I always make sure i have my kit lense on the camera and take additional lenses like my 70-200 or my 20 mm lense and some extra batteries with me. Not to forget a rain cover and a microfibre cleaning cloth.Feedback
For a picture like this you simply have to choose the right time of day and be lucky with the weather Find a high view point to get a great overview of the scenery. A tripod is very useful but if its not available just find s place where you can stabilise the camera while taking the photo.
