Location
It was taken near Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the wonderful area of Italian Dolomites alps.Time
It was in the evening. Almost sunset.Lighting
Lightning at sunset is unique in that area. Dolomites become of a vivd orange, red colour. It's so beautiful it seems almost unreal. No artificial lightning of course. Just the sun at sunset.Equipment
Camera I used was a canon 5D mark 3 with canon 24-105L lens. No tripod was used.Inspiration
The "Tre cime di Lavaredo" are the best mountains in the entire Dolomites area due to their unique shape and magnificent height. It's truly a wonderful experience to look at this masterpiece by nature. I was walking in the snow on a nice path and suddenly here they are in all their beauty!Editing
Some post processing was made using adobe lightroom to add more dramatic color to sunset and to enhance shadow areas a bit.In my camera bag
I used to bring my canon 5D mk3 and 17-40 plus 24-105 lenses but recently I have changed with Sony A6300 and 18-105 G lens for travel photography.Feedback
Enjoy a visit to Italian Dolomites area and you will have hundreds of spots to shoot wonderful landscape photography
