This photo was taken during a weekend away in northumberland on the north east coast of England , this cottage abandoned for many years is on the edge of the sand dunes in a stunning area near banboroughTime
I took this shot early in the afternoon while out for a walk taking landscape shots and enjoying the scenery and fresh airLighting
The day had been overcast earlier but had improved in the afternoon and was good at the time of taking the shot which gave a nicely exposed image and great coloursEquipment
This shot was taken using my Canon 80d and canon 16-35 f2.8 wide angle lensInspiration
I photographed this old cottage because I liked the look of this rundown abandoned home and thought the colours were lovely from the old red roof tiles to the wild flowers and grasses with the dried out old fenceEditing
There was very little to do in any post processing a small increase in contrast was about all I adjustedIn my camera bag
Usually in by bag I have canon 80d 16-35mm 70-250mm and a 400mm all canon pro lenses and usually I will be carrying my tripod a light weight modern ball head Plenty spare batteriesFeedback
Make sure you take plenty of shots different exposures, try taking from other positions etc ,you’ve got more chance of getting at least one great shot out of it
