Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Play Hermosa, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Time

The photo was taken at approx 1000. I was waiting for a dive boat and thought while waiting to throw my drone up.

Lighting

The lighting is natural less touch ups from lightroom. The sun was also behind the resulting in contrasting shadows with the sharp colours.

Equipment

This was a DJI Spark. I also use it for taking real estate photos. Aside from not being a stable platform in higher winds, this drone works great.

Inspiration

My inspiration for this photo is maps. I have always loved to study maps. Before vacations or trips I have always dived into maps so I can have a lay of the land.

Editing

My post session uses lightroom. I live a life behind polarized sunglasses and I believe it is only fair to share that experience.

In my camera bag

I do not carry a camera with me unless I am travelling.

Feedback

My advice, take a picture. Not everything will turn out how you expect it and you can be pleasantly surprised.
