Location
Was taken on the edge of Edale moor looking across the Hope valley.Time
Was around 8:00am in the morning.Lighting
Only thing I can say was in the right location and time of day and was in the middle of December.Equipment
Used a Nikon D4s with a 85 f1.4 lens on a tripod, using the self timer to reduce any movement and shutter delay.Inspiration
Was free weather conditions for this time in December, was something you have to capture at the time.Editing
Only do standard post processing, work with raw file most of the time.In my camera bag
These days carry more up to date cameras like a Nikon D850, a Z6 body and lens adapter for my Nikon F mount lenses. Take a selection of these lenses- Nikon 20mm wide-angle, 28mm wide-angle, 58mm f1.4 lens and a 85mm f1.4 lens. Take a selection of polarisers for my lens in all sizes to fit the lenses.Feedback
Photos I mainly do are landscapes, don't carry to much weight if your covering a lot of ground. Check the weather conditions before the trip and carry weatherproofs with you. Take plenty of snacks with you to keep your energy levels up. If you have a HD camera don't need to carry big lenses with you, can crop your photo later in post processing and get the same effect as a telephoto.
