Location
This photo was taken at my sister's farm in Oklahoma. She has several beautiful horses but this one was my favorite. We were looking at this beauty and I asked my sister if she could get her to run and run she did! Since the horse was in a corral she had to run in circles and gave me an opportunity to shoot her in motion at different angles.Time
It was mid afternoonLighting
Just a normal day with a little overcast.Equipment
I shoot with a D7500 Nikon and this was with a AF-S NIKKRO 17 - 55 mm 1:2.8 G ED DX LensInspiration
The beauty of the horse and the colorsEditing
I did minimal post-processing.In my camera bag
I carry my D7500 Nikon, a Nikon AF-S Micro,105mm 1:2.8G ED lense, an AF-S NIKKRO 17 - 55 mm 1:2.8 G ED DX Lense, the standard 70 - 300 mm Nikon zoom. I always carry something to clean my lenses and a tripod most of the time. If I know I will shoot wildlife or sporting events I carry my AF-S NIKKOR 200-500 mm 1: 5.6E ED.Feedback
Just be ready for anything and it helps to have a wonderful subject. When you see something of interest try and look at it differently. A different angle, a different light or like this one get it to move!
