I captured this great moment where two penguins appear to be holding hands or flippers while looking at the Cape Town.

I took this photo on a WorldPix Safari to South Africa. This shot was taken on a rest day, just outside of Cape Town.Time
Late morningLighting
The lighting was sidelight, but starting to get a little too high for good landscape shots.Equipment
Canon 1DX with a 70-200 zoom lens. Hand held.Inspiration
I love Penguins! On our off day from our WorldPix Safari I decided to go out and try to get a cool Penguin shot. Penguins are constantly on the move so getting good animal behavior is not hard. I saw this moment developing and quickly clicked off a couple of frames to memorialize the moment. I was inspired by the concept of Penguins mating for life and I think I captured the concept here.Editing
Not really. What you see is what you get!In my camera bag
On Safari I like to carry my Canon 1DX Mark II as it can take 16 shots per second! If I'm planning to blow up the image I'll shoot the Mark IV as it has over 50% more pixels. I love shooting the 200-400 zoom lens with 1.4X built in extender but for close shots I reach for the 70-200 2.8 lens that was used here.Feedback
Feel free to reach out to me if you want to join us for a Safari in Africa. WorldPix puts on Workshops and Safaris around the world and we donate all the profits to charities near where the photo was taken. We even take you to the causes if you are interested in being involved yourself. Reach out to me for more info. LynchMD@gmail.com
