Location
The photo was taken in London, on my Xmas hols trip back in 2015.Time
I managed to shoot this in the evening around blue hour time , on sucha rainy & cold day.Lighting
Didn't use any specific lighting equipment that time, but I did use a long exposure of 13sec to capture it. Love how the colorful lights reflected on the damp ground and the top of the Shard of London itself looked like a shiny diamond with its glowing yellow lights.Equipment
This was shot only with my basic beginner equipment: a Nikon D3200, a Nikkor kit lens 18-55mm and a Manfrotto tripod. That's all and so simple.Inspiration
It was my first time photo traveling to London where I met my new friends , Heather & Avi, that I knew and followed each other just recently that time from a photography platform. I've learned a lot about camera settings etc and executed what I got from them on the spot. Apparently this place is one of fave place to shoot for many photographers, so Heather and I decided to take a few shots with our cameras...Love how our results turned out.Editing
I didn't take a lot of time to do post-processing, just a few minutes using Adobe Lightroom to enhance its colors. In my camera bag
My equipment in my camera bag are: A camera (Nikon D750/Nikon D3200), 2 lenses (Nikkor lens 18-55mm & Nikkor lens 18-105), lens pen, microfiber cloth, remote, extra camera battery & circular ND filter + small & light traveling tripod. I would say it's just a beginner equipment.Feedback
When you're traveling far, try to deal with any circumstances including challenging weather, and determined to take a few shots from a spot. Use different focal length and exposure, so you could get many variation shots. Take benefits of any circumstances and surroundings to add value of your object and to make it different and stands out from others although you probably take pictures from the well-known place for any photographers. If possible, do take from a different angle that no other people/photographer could think of.
