Behind The Lens

Location

Flight of the Valkyrie - this is one of the photos of my project "Ballet on asphalt". The photo was taken on the Volga river embankment in Saratov, Russia . On the horizon, you can see the Saratov bridge over the Volga ...

Time

The picture was taken in the evening . This particular picture was taken at 18: 58

Lighting

I used natural light , it's the setting sun , it's perfect for this kind of shooting

Equipment

At that time, I was using a Canon EOS 50D camera with an EF-S17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens

Inspiration

I was interested in fitting the dancers into the conditions of the street ... And I also remembered the old slogan "Art to the masses" - which means to dance not only on the theater stage , but also on the asphalt of the street, so that people going from work could nasloditsya fine art of dance .

Editing

I didn't do any special processing . I made only a small retouch of the skin and turned it into a black and white version .

In my camera bag

Now I shoot on a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with an EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens sometimes I take a flash

Feedback

Friends, I can give you one good tip : Always try to take a shot from an unexpected angle ! The more unexpected the angle the more interesting the frame !!!
