They are, but unfortunately their horns are highly sought after in the East, resulting in both the white and black rhino species being listed as endangered. This is the white rhino identified by it's wide mouth. The black rhino is smaller, more aggressive and an almost beak like mouth eating leaves and small,young twigs. The white rhino feeds primarily on grass.
