This photo is taken at Burgers Zoo in Arnhem in the Netherlands. This Hammerhead is swimming in a huge aquarium.Time
It was in the middle of the day, but because this photo is taken inside, the background is very dark, with subtle light from above.Lighting
The spot above the aquarium provide subtle light on top of the aquarium. The hammerhead was swimming towards the light.Equipment
This photo was taken with my Canon 70D, 18-200 Canon lens, no tripod or flash.Inspiration
The beatiful subtle light and the black depth of the aquarium made sure that the hammerhead looked absolutly beatiful and mysterious.Editing
I edited this photo a bit in Lightroom. I lowered the highlights and I strengthend the shadows. In my camera bag
Normally I have also my 50mm lens in my bag.Feedback
Take your time! Look for the swimming patterns of the sharks. Especially in a aquarium the sharks are swimming in patterns. When you observed the sharks you can shoot beautifull pictures, because you know when you take your best shot.
