Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in a little hidden creek I found on a path in my hometown. Everything was so calm and peaceful, I had to capture it.

Time

I took my bike out in the middle of the afternoon with the hot sun beaming down on everything, not the best idea, but I thought I should grab my camera in case there is any possible photo opportunities. Lucky for me, I found this gem!

Lighting

I wanted this image to seem very calming and bright. I used natural sunlight and nothing other than that. I wanted to pot ray nature in it's simplest form, beautiful.

Equipment

I used a Nikon camera with a telephoto lens.

Inspiration

I honestly just wanted to capture one of my favorite days. This, along with many others, was just a spur of the moment idea.

Editing

I added one filter to enhance the reflection of the lake, as most landscape photos need, but other than that, nothing!

In my camera bag

I always carry my Nikon, a telephoto lens, camera wipe and a regular lens.

Feedback

Go out in nature and capture anything you like! Some of the best photos are unplanned.
