This photo was taking along the Willapa River in Raymond Washington.Time
New set of eyes are showing taken while I was out exploring one of the walking trails that runs along the river. This photo was taken on July 11, 2016 at 20:52.Lighting
This photo is actually of a “series“. I captured many sunset photos in this one particular spot because I stuck around to watch the sun go down. This is the first time I watch the sun sink and photographed it it was a very unique experience for myself.Equipment
This particular image was taken on a shell phone. I have always love photography and use any type of equipment that is available to me. I have since upgraded and I use a Canon rebel T6 with a 18-55 mm lense.Inspiration
I wanted to use this opportunity to try and capture somewhat of a silhouette of the objects in the foreground of the image. With using the equipment I had it was a challenge to get it to come out the way I imagined. But when I finally got the shot it was amazing.Editing
Sometimes I will do color touches where I darken the blacks in brighten the whites. In my camera bag
I carry a Canon Rebel T6 camera body and a 18 to 55MM lens. But you can’t forget the five extra batteries for that just in case moment.Feedback
Wait around as the sun sinks. As it gets closer to the horizon more colors start to show there will be a picture perfect moment. But if you just assume the first picture you take is the best you will get, you will miss the prime moment at the sun goes down.
