Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at an alpaca farm in Virginia. It was a perfect setting in the Hay-barn.

Time

It was late afternoon and the sun was setting by the entrance of the barn. And the inside of the barn gave a nice reflection of the sun which lit up the truck

Lighting

The lighting was very direct the sun was low and illuminated the inside of the barn. Making the situation very good for lighting

Equipment

I used a Canon 70 D. With the 18 -250 zoom.

Inspiration

When taking photographs I look for lots of colors and the colors in this truck born just popped out. What made it better was the lighting reflecting off the inside of the barn

Editing

did some processing with the photo in light room and Photoshop.I just needed to correct the white balance and adjust color.

In my camera bag

I always carry a small tripod plus a flash and I also carry a 50 mm lens

Feedback

I think capturing the image mostly needed to be done when the sun was setting. It made the direct light behind a truck and a reflection from the inside of the barn lit up the truck perfectly.
