Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken in Galveston, TX at the San Luis Pass, which is a very popular fishing spot.Time
I don't recall the exact time this was taken but definitely at sunset!Lighting
I love using natural light. I want to capture things exactly as I see them.Equipment
My camera is a Nikon D2x and I used my 70-200mm Nikon telephoto lens.Inspiration
I love landscapes and sunsets. It was such a beautiful day and the sunset was too beautiful to not capture.Editing
I use Lightroom 3 Photoshop CS4. All I did was remove the spots from sand getting in my lens and on my censor and I made sure to tweak the sharpness. In my camera bag
In my bag always is my Nikon D2x, my Nikon 50mm fixed, my 70-200 telephoto, a head lamp for when I shoot at night, batteries and always my remote. I love shooting at night, so that's always a must. Of course my tripod as well.Feedback
My advice for shooting anything is to set your camera to manual mode. It gives you complete control over everything. Also, keep your camera with you always because you never know when something intriguing or beautiful can happen!
