I found this Cedar WaxWing perched in a tree in my yard. I do not see these birds very often, but I sure do get excited when I spot one. These are considered to be passerine birds. The coloring they have is gorgeous. The mask on their head is eye-catching to say the least. They do eat the berries on our trees, so I see them for just a little bit in the Spring and a little more in the Fall.
From what I have read, these birds are quite natural in the UK and can be seen quite often.
