Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on a mountain called Jebel Jais in UAE. During winters people usually do over night camping here.

Time

It was mid night 2am

Lighting

The lighting was from the camp fire, with the huge backgroup of stars on the sky.

Equipment

Canon 7D II, Canon EF 24-105 mounted on tripod

Inspiration

The complementary colors of the tents, with the shadow of the person siting inside & the stars on the sky.

Editing

I used Lightroom to process this image. Did white balance, then pulled out more details on the stars.

In my camera bag

Canon 7D II, 16-35, 24-70, Canon flash.
