This was taken in a warehouse that was subleased behind a showroom I worked at.Time
Taken around midday in a large closed warehouse with just natural daylight coming through skylights about 40 feet above me.Lighting
I love how it turned out with just the natural daylight. I think any other lighting would have spoiled the look. But in saying that, I would also love to go back with my DSLR camera and take a few more photos.Equipment
Incredibly, this photo was taken with just my iPhone 4!Inspiration
This is a photo of a huge traffic sign, the ones that sit above the motorways here in Auckland, New Zealand. The company that made them would test them in the warehouse before they were erected. The signs have messages such as driving conditions or warning of an accident ahead etc. They are so much bigger than you realise when you drive under them. They are about 8-10 feet high and probably at least 20 feet long. Everytime I saw them they fascinated me and I just had to capture a photo but all I had was my phone.Editing
No post processing at all.In my camera bag
I shoot with a Nikon D5200 with either my 18-200 or my 35mm 1.8 but sadly I didn't have it with my camera with me this day. I've learnt to carry my camera with me as often as I can. If I don't, I always regret it because I miss so many photo opportunities.Feedback
Make sure you have more than just your cell phone with you!
