Behind The Lens

Location

The image captured was taken in my college's photography studio. I am a student at the moment but have used my self taught skills as well!

Time

This was taken around dinner time in the studio.

Lighting

I used two 500 watt Allen Bee for lighting.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D7100.

Inspiration

The bond between this young mother and her son has always been strong. I wanted to capture these moments while they are both still young.

Editing

I do all of my editing in Lightroom and Photoshop

In my camera bag

Just my Nikon D7100, batteries, SD Cards, and my standard lens.

Feedback

You will always have in your mind what you would like to do and what you are aiming for, but in all honesty it never works out that way. With kids especially, you need to go with the flow. That's when you will capture the most cherished moments in time.
