I photographed the fork and then the spoon pictures using a mount card backing in the kitchen.Time
Using the early morning sun to create the shadows.Lighting
You could also use a torch to create the shadows.Equipment
I used a Canon 450D hand held, no flash.Inspiration
I'm always looking for the simple but unusual shot, this particular image just caught my eye and made me think creatively.Editing
Both images were opened in Pse7, I duplicated the spoon and over layered it on the fork image. Then carefully erasing around the spoon to reveal the shadow of the fork, with a little retouching using the clone stamp. In my camera bag
Just my trusty 450D and spare battery and memory cards.Feedback
Just try and focus your mind on the simple things around you, we all get consumed by the Pro-high profile images and spend to much time chasing the perfect picture.
