This photo was taken in my home! I am a self-taught photographer and really am a super beginner so everything this photo was pure luck!Time
This is definitely one of my favorite pictures that I have taken. I was going about my day when I saw our dog "Hannah" sitting pretty in our living room, trying to get some 'sun tan'. The sun was coming in through our window and it looked like it would be a great shot - natural lighting and little to no requirement for additional editing to the picture is a perfect scenario for me. This picture was taken approximately 11am in the morning :)Lighting
All natural! I had the perfect opportunity, lighting + my dog was at the correct location at the perfect time. I did not edit this photo at all. The living room was nicely shaded but we also had some sun shining in from an open window. It was positioned nicely where it accentuate her pretty face, which is exactly what I saw when I ran to get my camera!Equipment
This shot was taken on Canon EOS REBEL T4i, f/4.0, 100 ISO. No other equipment used.Inspiration
It was spontaneous! I was minding my own business at home (as usual) and saw my dog, Hannah, doing her normal "sunbathing" session. She looked pretty content and was enjoying her tan. I thought she looked exquisite and decided that she deserved to be shared with the world.Editing
No post-processing at all. Lucky me!In my camera bag
As I am a super beginner and by no means an expert or close to it, I only have basic equipment in my bag : Camera, a few lenses (50mm and 75-300mm) a cleaner, a few spare batteries and an eye-fi storage)Feedback
You will never know when you will get the perfect opportunity to take unplanned photos! I keep my camera close to me (most times) in case I get the opportunity to snap those unexpected moments. Those are the best pictures.
