Location
Seattle WA at the Waterfront. I think Pier 57 over near the Ferris wheel. It was in December of 2013Time
Evening, the sun was setting and it was about to disappear. I had to get the shot before it vanished.Lighting
Sunset and sunrise photos don't really require extra lighting. The sun is all you need to get that perfect sunrise/sunset photo.Equipment
I used my old iPhone. I believe I still had the iPhone 4s at that time. Either that or my Canon Powershot but I'm pretty sure this is an iPhone photo.Inspiration
I was just walking around the pier with one of my good friends and as the sun started to set it was looking really pretty out. I remember I had to get the shot because I really thought the light poles added an extra dimension to the shot. Wouldn't be the same without those light poles.Editing
I don't like editing my photos too much. sometimes I add filters but it was not necessary for this one.In my camera bag
I'm a big fan of iPhoto photography. And I love my old Canon Powershot. I just recently upgraded to the Panasonic LUMIX GH5 for filmmaking.Feedback
Golden hour and blue hour are perfect times to capture those really beautiful sunset/sunrise photos if you don't want to be completely blinded by the sun during the middle of the day. Also the colors really come out when it's a little darker and it's and amazing.
