Location
Taken from Marienbrücke (Marien bridge) in Neuschwanstein (47.33' 17.986662" North, 10.44' 57.851658" East). Not recommended for acrophobia sufferers (yours truly) but view of Pöllat Gorge is supposedly stunning.Time
11:28Lighting
worst possible light conditions: almost midday. If not for the clouds, everything would be flat and not worth the effort.Equipment
hand held Nikon D700 with Sigma 70-200 mm f 2.8 with UV/IR filter. Handheld as there was too many people on the bridge to set up a tripod.Inspiration
Just playing tourist. The view was really beautiful, so regardless of lack of tripod (hike was long and I was lazy) and not favorable time of day, I shot series of frames from hand, trying not to think that I'm standing at the edge of the bridge above deep gorge.Editing
This is a 5 frame panorama processed as HDR using HDR Efex Pro 2 in Photoshop. In my camera bag
Camera Nikon D700 at the moment Lenses: Sigma 24-70 mm f 2.8 Art and Sigma 85mm f 1.4 Art and when travelling I add Sigma 70-200 mm f 2.8 filters: UV, ND, CPL, and bunch of effect ones remote, spare battery, spare memory card, lens cleaning stuff and if I'm using tripod: Cam RangerFeedback
I'm horrible in giving advice. Having problems taking good photos myself, shouldn't advice others.
