This photo was taken at hyumayu’s tomb at Delhi, India built in 16th century and one of the finest example of Islamic architecture. During my visit and it was one of my best light and shadow picture I ever captured.Time
Time was about between 4:45 to 5:15 pm in the evening that’s why I got longer shadow, this photo was not pre planed I was visiting this place and walking around inside this tomb and my eyes just got stuck at this view and I framed this photo. Also took from various angle as well but in this picture there is a vertical line that is visible on the left side of the imageLighting
Sunlight was very harsh and coming straight inside, having bright light outside there was glare coming so this stone grill creating amazing contrast and great fall of shadow.Equipment
This photo I took from one of my old camera Canon 450D with 18-200 tamron lens. no tripod no flash was used.Inspiration
Hyumayu’s tomb was one of the finest monument of Islamic architecture in India. It was built in 16th century. It has an amazing stone screen and carvings with Islamic motifs, this stone screen was one of them and i captured it with every details of carvings and light passing through falling on the floor. Main focus was to capture details and patterns of one piece stone screen its beautifully made at that time by hands god knows how many days it would have taken and how many one has broken to get one right on one piece stone.Editing
